Fantasy Football 2024: Best Rookie QBs to Watch and Bet on

Fantasy Football

Summer activities have started and football will be here before you know it. That also means that fantasy football is right around the corner. Which leads to the question, “Who will be the top rookie QB this year?”

There will be plenty of bets made on the rookies starting this year. For those interested in placing a bet on real football, free bets in NJ and other states are a good start for a risk-free bet. If you want to focus on fantasy instead, let’s take a look at each option to see who will be the best rookie QB 2024 fantasy choice.

Caleb Williams

The number one pick in the draft is a great choice to have one of the best rookie QB seasons. He has a ton of weapons – DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet – on a team that is on the rise.

Drake Maye

Maye has one of the highest ceilings in the entire draft, Maye comes with a boatload of promise. However, when talking about the best rookie QB 2024, Maye isn’t often in the discussion. The Patriots have a dearth of playmakers at the skill positions, and Maye needs to work on his play recognition and reads above all.

Jayden Daniels

Daniels went 2nd overall to the Washington Commanders and is their guy. He’ll no doubt be the starter from Day One, but the Commanders need help on offense. He has Terry McLaurin to throw to, but a running game and an offensive line that requires work. Look for a lot of growing pains for Daniels as a rookie signal caller.

Michael Penix Jr

Despite being the 8th overall pick, most feel Penix Jr. won’t see the field in 2024. That’s because the Falcons also signed Kirk Cousins to a loaded four-year contract. While he might not be the top rookie QB, Penix Jr. does have bright days ahead of him.

J.J. McCarthy

McCarthy, the 10th overall pick to the Minnesota Vikings, is interesting. He has the physical tools but is something of an unknown as a prospect. He’ll have Justin Jefferson, Jalen Addison, and T.J Hockenson to throw to, which will make him an interesting choice for the best rookie QB in the NFL for fantasy.

Bo Nix

The 12th overall pick and the last of the first-round quarterbacks. Nix is expected to be the starter but the Broncos are clearly in a transition period. If you are looking for the potential best rookie QB seasons, Nix isn’t going to be on a lot of lists. He has talent but there are too many other options for the best rookie QB.

At the end of the day, the best rookie QB remains to be seen. There are so many options available and the best rookie QB for fantasy could come from anywhere. Use our insights to get ahead of it all and guess who will have the best rookie QB seasons.
